There’s No Place Like Home

This morning I woke up in Dallas and it was glorious! I’m back in town for a few days before my family and I head on our big trip to Greece + Turkey. Yesterday after Mom picked me up at the airport, we went straight to MiCo for some queso and brisket tacos. While Miami has many many amazing restaurants featuring cuisines from all over the world, they DO NOT know how to make good Mexican food – especially queso. Then for the rest of the day we just sort of vegged out on the couch which was honestly such a nice change of pace and very needed. We attempted to find a good show to binge on during our long flight, but we are currently undecided. We tested out ‘The Outsiders’ which I liked, but Colleen thought it was too violent, and the ‘Rabbit Hole’ with James Franco…which I can’t decide if it’s amazing or terrible haha. Sometimes it’s a fine line! Anyways we are currently open to suggestions. Hope everyone is having a great holiday weekend 🙂
