I’ve been making a concerted effort to get back on a regular posting schedule on the blog, and as such have been going through all of my blog post drafts recently. I have found so many half finished posts it would make your head spin! I’m not quite sure how I got here but its somewhere around 50 posts. I actually took these photos back in 2016 (OMG) with Bethany, and I genuinely am confused as to why I never published them…I think I thought my arm looked chunky and I was embarrassed that my chin was breaking out. It’s crazy what two years gone by will do for your perspective on things. It’s sometimes difficult to navigate the demand for perfection in a business that is so rooted in visual aesthetics. But I think with time and age, I’ve become more comfortable posting things without overthinking it to death. It’s a small victory rediscovering these photos, and coming to the realization that they most certainly are “blog worthy”. I hope that this will serve as a turning point to publish more of my half finished stories that I hadn’t had the courage to share before.
PS. I literally would pay a sizable sum to have my arms look like that again. Also I’m pretty sure this dress doesn’t even fit me anymore, but that’s what happens when you gain twenty pounds haha. Yup.
I love looking back at these photos and remember what a great time I had on this trip. I had only been in Miami a short while, and was so glad to have Bethany in town with me. I was feeling pretty isolated and unsure of what was next for me after this monumental move. I think this was definitely the trip where I started to have such positive associations with Palm Beach, as a comforting place to escape my new big city life. It will always have such a special place in my heart and I look forward to visiting for years to come.

Isn’t Palm Beach so amazing?! I can’t get enough. Your white maxi pairs perfectly with the Palm Beach style 🙂
