Last Saturday I set sail out of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale aboard Regal Princess for an amazing trip to the Caribbean. As you guys may have noticed, this has been quite a cruise heavy year for me. What can I say, I just love the ease and convenience of traveling with a floating hotel wherever I go! This was my fist Princess Cruise, so although I’ve cruised before I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect.
First impressions really are everything, and the second I stepped foot on the ship I knew that I was going to have a wonderful experience. How did I know this? The answer is simple: Impeccable customer service. I was greeted with huge smiles and such a warm and welcoming energy from the staff. And it was only uphill from there, a a chilled bottle of Veuve Clicquot waiting for me in my room along with some chocolate covered strawberries to be enjoyed while watching the gorgeous sunset as we pulled out of the harbor. Not a bad way to start a trip 🙂
When I’m packing for a cruise I like to bring on a bunch of easy pieces that can be dress up or down. I am loving this racerback tank and I wore it non stop through out the trip! This collar necklace is one of my favorite recent additions to my jewelry box. A Christmas present from CB, I love the minimal design and how it goes with practically any outfit (& at only $38 it is a major style steal).
One of my favorite parts of cruising is watching the beach line fade away as you are pulling out of port. There is just this vibe of quiet excitement in the air for what the coming week will bring that is almost intoxicating. I can’t wait to share the rest of my trip with you in the coming weeks, and make sure to check back under the Travel section so you don’t miss a thing!
