A Morning at the Beach

I have been on the hunt for a great pair of travel sandals for a while now, as this is the first of many upcoming trips I have planned over the next few months. I knew I wanted a neutral metallic like gold or silver and they needed to be comfortable enough to be able to withstand long days of exploring. I never realized what a tall order this was. Every pair I found were cute, but not practical. After searching the inter webs far and wide I finally came across a Born pair on Zappos. Honestly…I was shocked I liked a pair of Born shoes. I always kind of wrote them off as that comfortable brand my mom is always going on about, but after seeing this pair I realized they have a lot more cute modern styles then I gave them credit for! They came in the mail just in time for my first trip of the season to Seaside, Fl for a friend’s wedding. My trip was short, but sweet and the sandals proved to be a great travel shoe for the beach during the day and also were cute enough to wear out for the nighttime wedding festivities.
