Memorial Weekend Recap

How was everyone’s Memorial Day Weekend? I started the holiday off on Friday at the Bacardi #SoundofRum event in Virginia Key Park which was super fun (see some snaps from the concert on my instagram @sidesmilestyle). On Saturday, Christian and I tried out Son Cubano in Coral Gables which was a sort of Asian Cuban fusion restaurant. I got the Vaca Frita which was very tasty. After that we headed over to Dadeland Mall for some retail therapy and to take advantage of all the great sales happening. I picked up a bunch of pieces for my trip this weekend to Palm Beach including this dress, this top, and these earrings. Once I gave my credit card that workout, we headed over to the new CMX theater at Brickell City Center to see the new Baywatch reboot. It was silly, but had some funny moments and I’m never mad about staring at Zac Effron’s abs for a few hours. PS. if you haven’t been to the CMX yet it is incredible! They have the most comfy seats, in theater dining, and even give you a blanket. I am basically ruined for life. On Sunday, I headed over to fellow blogger Kelly Saks house for swimming, rose, and pizza. Yesterday was the laziest of days, just hanging around the house rewatching season 4 of House of Cards. I can’t believed the new season comes out today! I think it’s safe to say that the new season will be playing in the back ground while I catch up on work this week.

I’ve been living in easy tops like this striped tank sweater and relying on my accessories to make a statement. I finally got my hands on these sandals, so naturally I’ve been pairing them with as many outfits as possible. And if you’re size is sold out, I’m also loving this pair as well.
