LILLY PULITZER VIA ROMA

One of my favorite ports on my Mediterranean cruise with MSC a few months back was Rome, Italy. From the pasta & pizza to the amazing history & architecture you really can’t go wrong. You really need at least a week in the Eternal City to do it justice, but we managed to cram in as much as we could in an eight hour whirl wind tour. Probably my favorite part (aside from revisiting the Colosseum), was getting to see the Vatican City again. The sheer size of it is absolutely awe inspiring.

Since I knew we would be going non stop all day I tried to pick an outfit that would keep me comfortable and cool (and cute for all of those photo opps). Whenever I’m traveling to warmer weather out of season, I always check out the latest Lilly Pulitzer because they have such amazing resort wear no matter the time of year. This Henri Bendel satchel was my go to handbag for the entire trip – it was the perfect size to fit the essentials but not too big so I wasn’t tempted to over pack it. Also the turnlock top added an extra layer of security – no one has time for getting robbed on vacation!
