One of my favorite experiences from my trip last summer was high tea, so an afternoon visit to was always at the top of my list Sketch. I was a little worried that it wouldn’t live up to hype, but as soon as I walked in the door I could tell that it would be as quirky and fab as I had hoped (the pink velvet chairs are even cooler in person). Although it is a set menu, they are more than willing to include or exclude items according to your preference. There is unlimited refills on tea, so you can try as many as you like – my favorite was the Black Currant and Hibiscus. At about 41 pounds per person it is definitely not a cheap outing. But I can honestly say that I think it is money well spent, not only for the food but also for the atmosphere and experience. The fact that I got to wear this amazing French Connection dress I picked up in New York also didn’t hurt : )
