Key Biscayne Lighthouse

The plan was simple. Go out to Key Biscayne early, explore the lighthouse, enjoy the beach, take some photos, then head over to the Lacoste Suite at the Miami Open Tennis tournament a few minutes away. But that is not how it went down. I’m gonna to be real with you guys, shooting these pictures was such a beating. If you follow me on snapchat, you may have caught a glimpse at how insanely windy it was during this little excursion. There was sand…everywhere, and trying to get a decent shot required some serious acrobatics. Bottom line we got the job done, but I definitely want to go back on a less blustery day so I can actually hang out and enjoy this iconic Miami spot!

I feel like everyone and their mom has this straw hat, but every time I went to buy it it was sold out! Well I finally found it back in stock at Nordstrom, and I am so glad I got my hands on it! I literally have been wearing it every other day since I bought it and I’m sure this pattern will continue all through out the summer. Dry shampoo is great and all but nothing covers up unwashed hair better than a chic sun hat!
