How to Not Overpack Pack for a Trip Abroad
One of my biggest tips for traveling abroad (and for travel in general really) is to pick a color palette for your trip and stick to it. For my trip to Paris I really wanted the gorgeous backdrops to speak for themselves in the photos. So I went with a lot of neutrals: Black, Grey, Cream, Camel. As a result, getting dressed in the morning was super easy as everything more or less matched.
My hero pieces from the trip were:
1. Dawn Levy Camel Coat – which also happens to be reversible and come with a detachable fur collar.
2. Draper James Wicker Bag – it just screams Paris does it not?
3. Steve Madden White Flats – they were a practical alternative to heels when I wanted to zhush up an outfit a bit.
4. Mott & Bow Highwaisted Jeans – I love the fit on these jeans and they were a great foundation for 95% of my outfits.
If you are looking for the most Insta-Worthy restaurants in Paris, La Maison Rose should definitely be on your list. Located in the 18th Arrondissement, pictures of this quaint Parisian restaurant are plastered all over the gram. The adorable pink and green facade basically screams “Take a photo in front of me”. Let me tell you, there was no shortage of tourists trying to snap their respective pics while we were there. So as usual I recommend arriving early to get a clear shot.
