My Winter Faux Glow
Summer might be in the rear view mirror but that doesn’t mean your sun kissed glow has to disappear into the horizon with it. Today I want to share my easy makeup routine that will keep you looking bronzed all year long.
CHARLOTTE TILBURY healthy glow
If you have a naturally fair complexion like me then this is the product for you! I don’t really like to let myself get naturally tan. Instead I rely on self-tanners and air brush tans to do the trick for me. Unfortunately since I have problematic skin and I have to use a plethora of serums and creams to manage it, the tan always gets striped off my face super quickly. Enter Charlotte Tilbury’s healthy glow. It goes on like lotion and then adjusts to your skin tone to give you the perfect faux glow. At the end of the day it washes off with your makeup, no muss no fuss.
BECCA backlight priming filter
I’m pretty picky about primers, but this one from Becca always gets the job done. It lays a nice aluminized base that subtly shines through your foundation.
CHARLOTTE TILBURY wonder glow
When I really want to pump up the glow, I’ll add this Charlotte Tilbury product on my cheek bones and bridge of my nose.
URBAN DECAYnaked skin foundation in 3.5 \ BY TERRY anti-wrinkle serum foundation
Am I the only one that has the hardest time finding just the right foundation? From the shade to level of coverage, my needs change on a daily basis. So my best solution has been to mix these two foundations together. The Urban Decay formula is a lot lighter and tinted darker – perfect for summer. While the BY TERRY offers a lot more coverage and is perfect when my skin is sans tan. So together I’m able to concoct the perfect foundation based on my skin/needs for the day.
IT COSMETICS bye bye redness concealer in light
I’ve mentioned before my issues with redness, so finding a good concealer to help cover it has been paramount. Nothing does the trick quite like It Cosmetics.
LAURA GELLER double take powder foundation in light
I love this Laura Geller powder for setting my foundation – it helps keep everything looking smooth and in place all day.
MARC JACOBS coconut bronzer
First of all this bronzer smells amazing. Secondly it is the perfect combo of shimmer and matte and the shade is never too orange. I usually contour around my face with it and then dust a bit on my cheek bones.
LOREAL true match lumi bronze it in light
This powder is great way to add glow + bronze at the same time. One of my favorite drug store purchases.
NARS multiple stick in south beach
This dual ended stick combo is great for highlighting and adding a little glow to your contour.
URBAN DECAY eyeshadow primer in sin
If you’re going for a bronze goddess look then obviously that needs to carry over to your eyelids as well! I love these eyeshadow primers from UD because they last all day and even can be worn alone as shadow if your are in a rush.
CHARLOTTE TILBURY lipstick in bitch perfect
I can’t pull off a lot of nude lips, but this shade has just enough pink to not make me look like I have concealer on my lips haha.
OPI nail polish in dulce de leche
One of my all time favorite neutral polishes, and looks killer with a tan 😉
