Thanksgiving in Miami

Thanksgiving is not usually an event that I look forward to. I don’t really love turkey and to be honest none of the traditional side dishes are particularly appealing to me either. But this year I have actually been anxiously awaiting it, as it is the first holiday that I am spending with Christian and his family in Miami. I’ve never spent a major holiday with a boyfriend and I am a bit nervous slash unsure what to expect. Living so far away from each other, we get precious little time to spend with each other let alone time enough to really get to know the others family. So I think going on an extended trip like this is the perfect opportunity for some prime bonding time 🙂 I’d love to hear about y’alls first holiday with your significant others family – sound off in the comments below!
