I wanted this look to be both stylish and practical. So I made sure to pick shoes that were not just cute, but could handle an entire day of walking around the city.
My mom swears that she has never seen a pair of jeans fit me better, and these dark wash skinnies have the added bonus of being extremely comfortable. Another key element to this outfit was the purse – I could easily fit all of my travel essentials without being weighed down & the outside pockets were perfect for easy access to my sunnies & oyster card for the tube.
I highly recommend taking advantage of the cities mass transit. It definitely added to my overall experience and made me feel like I was experiencing the real London. My favorite app for navigating was definitely Citymapper, because it gives you access even when you are underground!

I love that top! Good call on the shoes… on my last NYC trip I made the mistake of wearing 4 inch boots on day one and my feet hurt well after I got home!
