What’s the Deal with Baby Foot?
Basically Baby Foot is a K-Beauty product that uses a highly potent gel exfoliant to remove calluses and smooth feet.
How often do you use Baby Foot?
I probably use Baby Foot about once every year or so, usually before the summer time.
What scent do you like?
My favorite scent they offer is Lavender.
Does it smell?
The smell is strong but manageable. If you ever gotten your hair highlighted or spent a long period of time in a nail salon, you’ll find it to be very comparable.
How long does it take?
60 minutes.
Where can I buy Baby Foot?
I get mine online from Ulta or Amazon.
When I first read about Baby Foot online a few years ago, I was fairly skeptical. Was this product really going to give me feet as soft as a babies?? Surly not. But I figured I may as well try it out, and worst case I would be out $15 bucks. I’ve always struggled with keeping my feet smooth and callous free, so I was excited about the possibility of such a magical cure all. After my first use, I was completely hooked! Baby Foot is the best treatment I have ever found. Every time I post about Baby Foot on my Insta Story, I always get in influx of questions in my inbox. So I decided to put together this post of best practices for those of you interested in trying this Korean Beauty staple.
Don’t
1. Don’t get a pedicure or paint your nails before – it will take off your polish
2. Don’t try break in brand new shoes the first couple of days after your feet peel – your soft new feet no longer have calluses so this could result in major blisters. I learned this one the hard way!
3. Don’t get freaked out. You’re feet will peel a lot. Like A LOT.
Do
1. Do read the instructions – the guidelines are there for a reason.
2. Do try and stay seated while wearing the treatment booties otherwise they will slip and slosh around. I like putting on a pair of crew socks to keep everything in place, and sitting in front of the tv for an hour.
3. Do wash your feet right after – if you leave the serum on too long your feet will become irritated.
Pro Tip: set a timer for the treatment so you know exactly when to wash your feet.
4. Do wear socks as often as possible over the next two weeks. This will keep the peeling as contained as possible.
