BISOUS BISOUS PATISSERIE
Finding the decent macarons this many miles away from Paris felt like a fool’s errand until I discovered this charming little bakery. Nestled in the corner of West Village, this is one of my favorite spots when I need a sugar pick me up!
WHAT TO ORDER
You obviously can’t go wrong with the macarons (my personal favorites are the salted caramel), but the eclairs are also pretty amazing!

HIGHLAND PARK VILLAGE
When I think of luxurious Dallas shopping HP Village is at the top of my list. From Christian Louboutin to Chanel & Hermes all the big players are represented in this label lover’s paradise.
WHAT TO EXPECT
If you hit up this A-list shopping center be prepared to drop some serious cash. But if window shopping is more your speed pick up a latte from starbucks, make a couple of laps and then head over to Anthropologie where the prices have significantly less sticker shock. After working up an appetite from shopping, make sure to head over to Mi Cocina for a Rico Salad and infamous Mambo Taxi.
WHAT TO WEAR
MUDSMITH
A quirky little coffee shop located on lower Greenville, this is one of my favorite places to disappear to for an afternoon with a good book and one of their amazing chai tea lattes.
WHAT TO WEAR
THE TACO STOP
Located in the Design District this little stand takes street tacos to the next level. In the span of a month I could easily eat here four-five times, just make sure to get there early as they close down at 3pm.
WHAT TO ORDER
They are on the smaller side and come in sets of three’s so I recommend getting at least two orders. I always include the pork carnitas & chicken little (with extra green sauce duh) in my order. Mama’s broth is also not to be missed.
WHAT TO WEAR
THE GEM
When it comes to juice bars, Dallas certainly has plenty of options. But this is the only one an app where you can order ahead for curbside delivery.
WHAT TO ORDER
I never leave town without paying a visit to the gem for an immunity shot & a ‘white diamond’ smoothie.
WHAT TO WEAR
PILATES BARRE
This is one workout class I would actually get out of bed for. Combining the best of a barre & pilates, this class is tough but the individualized attention from the instructors make it manageable.
WHAT TO EXPECT
When you head to this lover’s lane studio, you will be greeted at the door by the very friendly staff & the super cute workout attire available at reception. Expect to spend some time on the reformer as well as doing traditional barre exercises (ball, bands, etc).
WHAT TO WEAR
PUBLIC SCHOOL 214
A gastro pub located in the West Village with top notch cocktails and appetizers. Just make sure to call ahead, this place usually has a 30 minute wait for dinner.
WHAT TO ORDER
I am always a big fan of a Moscow Mule and their blackberry ‘Crush Velvet’ incarnation hits the spot every time. If you don’t order the bacon cheddar tots…you are an idiot.
WHAT TO WEAR
VILLAGE BURGER BAR
$3.25 Happy Hour Magaritas…need I say more?
WHAT TO ORDER
I cannot explain how frequently I find myself craving an order of the buffalo grilled chicken strips. Do yourself a favor and order an extra side of ranch.
