For New Years Eve, Christian and I headed to one of my favorite spots on the east coast: Sea Island, Georgia. If you’ve never been I really encourage you to go. Not only is The Cloister resort property GORGEOUS, but there are so many surrounding towns and barrier islands that provide endless day trips and activities. We kept pretty low key on this trip, and focused on spending time at the resort with the friends that we were on the trip with. A lot of Cards Against Humanity and of course wine by the fire. But one of my favorite things we did was venture out to try some amazing food at Southern Soul Barbecue on St Simmons Island. The Pimento Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Bacon? I’m still having dreams about it! And a friendly tip: either order ahead or try to go during an off hour if you don’t want to wait in line because this place was PACKED and has limited seating.
I basically lived in these Marc Fisher boots on this trip. They are so easy to dress up or down, and I love the dark grey color! You can see other ways I’ve styled them here: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
I have been all about the bell sleeves lately and this top in today’s post is finally back in stock! I actually just ordered two of these ruffle sleeve tees as well.
A new discovery in the denim department are these Mott & Bow jeans. I love how high-waisted they are $128 which is pretty good for designer denim.
