As I have mentioned before, the Miami heat and humidity can be quite miserable during Swim Week. Keeping that in mind I made sure to gather a ton of up-do hair inspiration on my Pinterest for the TRESemme team. I loved these heidi braids so much that I actually kept them for two outfits (see the other one here). Two things I think are important to note for achieving a similar look: First – she did a very subtle zigzag along my natural part, which I think made the look less severe. Second – instead of just braiding the pigtails and pinning them in across my head, she actually did dutch french braids halfway up & then pinned. This definitely gave the braids durability and staying power.
