An Afternoon in Brickell

I have been traveling so much the last 6 months, but some of my most treasured moments are my weekends at home with Christian. I feel so blessed (not #blessed, actually blessed), that my job allows me to go on these trips have so many amazing experiences…BUT it really does take a toll being constantly on the move. Right now seeing a movie, trying out a new restaurant, shopping on Lincoln road, even grocery shopping, which are such simple activities, truly make me so happy. I have one more week of doing the domestic thing in Miami before I’m off to Dallas then Greece with the fam, and I plan on taking full advantage while I can.

I got these tassel earrings a couple of weeks ago and have been wearing them nonstop! I’m not usually an earring girl but these were too fun to pass up.

It’s been a minute since I’ve bought any kind of a skirt, and I just love this one from J.Crew. I think the texture makes it super cute and different and I know I’ll get a ton of use out of it this summer.

I originally bought these gingham flats on a whim for my trip to Charleston, and much to my surprise I have been wearing them on the reg. They add such a fun pop to so many of my outfits, and are super comfortable to boot!

Christian and I snapped these pics this weekend before heading to brunch at Yardbird, which was super southern and yummy. I highly recommend the maple bacon glazed donuts…holy moly they were #praisehandsemoji good! It gets excessively packed on the weekends so make a reservation unless you want to wait an hour. After that we wandered around Lincoln road and I picked up a few things from the Banana Republic sale (this dress and blazer). Then we headed over to see ‘The Nice Guys’ which was quirky and hilarious, although CB was not as amused as I was…but he rarely ever is haha.
