Back in July I spent a weekend in Nashville to celebrate my friend Francesca’s 30th birthday. The trip could not have come at a better time, I was feeling some serious blogger burnout and needed a good excuse to skip out on Swim Week. A big lesson I’ve learned the past couple of months is I can’t do it all, and that’s ok! I absolutely loved Nashville and I can’t wait to visit again for long that a weekend!
WHERE TO STAY
We stayed at the Westin in downtown Nashville and it was a great location! We loved getting to go up to the club level for a snack and cocktail in the afternoons, and we were never more than a 10 minute uber ride away from any of the bars and restaurants we wanted to visit.
WHAT TO DO
Johnny Cash Museum
Johnny Cash is a total music icon, and visiting his museum was one of the highlights of the trip! I learned so many fun facts that I had no clue about!
FGL House
If you want three stories of good music and dancing, hit up Florida Georgia Line’s Broadway spot.
Jack Daniel’s Distillery in Lynchburg
The Jack Daniel’s tour is definitley worth the drive to Lynchburg. If you head out there, I would definitley encourage doing a tasting. PS. you can actually purchase engraved bottles of Jack, which I thought was pretty cool.
WHERE TO SHOP
From Cowboy Boots to Leather Goods and amazing Antique store, Nashville has a ton to offer in terms of shopping. Check out my favorite spots below:

I was dying to get a fancy pair of cowboy boots, and ended up falling in love with this pair of $30 kids boots. Yay for having small feet!
