When I moved from Dallas to Miami, other than my bedframe and this desk, I really didn’t bring any furniture with me. I took the move as an opportunity to upgrade my decor to big girl status, rather than keeping the hodgepodge of hand me downs I’ve been carting around since college. It’s been slow going, but piece by piece I’m starting to get this place together. Decorating isn’t the easiest when every other week I’m out of town, so I’m not exactly sure when I’ll be finished – but don’t worry y’all will be the first to know! I’m so excited to share a few of my favorite items I’ve added so far, and can’t wait to hear what y’all think!
1. Side Table
Admittedly it took several weeks of trolling at HomeGoods, but I couldn’t be happier with this table. AND I snagged it for only $50 which made my wallet happy too. Most importantly it’s perfect for stacking my favorite fashion magazines : )
2. Ghost Chair
Admittedly these chairs are a little played out thanks to their popularity on Pinterest, but people love them for a reason…they’re chic AF!
The Ghost Chair can be a little hard, so the addition of the rug makes it exceedingly more comfortable.
I am having a major rose gold moment, as anyone who knows me will tell you, so naturally incorporating a pop here and there into my home decor was bound to happen.
This rug was a big investment for me, so naturally I checked WestElm.com every day and pounced the second they ran a special on it. I know hot pink is a lotta look, but I honestly think it makes the entire room.
