After a morning of underwater fun & lunch back on the ship, we ventured out for an afternoon exploring St. Thomas. The Island is actually considered to have ‘the best shopping in the U.S. Virgin Islands‘ with over $100 duty free shops from Louis Vuitton to BCBG! We stopped off at a little stand to pick up the cutest fresh coconut drinks, and proceeded to window-shop aimlessly for the rest of the afternoon.
This Cooper & Ella dress (currently on major sale at Nordstrom Rack) was one of my favorite dresses I brought on the trip, it so is great for traveling because it comes out of the suitcase hardly wrinkled! Not only was it perfect for site seeing, but I also wore it a couple nights with heels to dinner back on the Regal Princess. I can’t stop buying off the shoulder pieces right now – I picked up this Rebecca Minkoff top & this Ramy Brock dress during the Shopbop sale this week (save up to 25% off with code BIGEVENT16).
One of my favorite parts of cruising are the arrivals and departures to and from a port. When you are first pulling in, it’s so fun to get caught up in the excitement and possibility of what awaits you on shore. And vice versa for the departure. As the ship pulled out of the harbor, I was able to see the beauty of St. Thomas in a whole new light and appreciate it on a much more personal level than I could event that very morning.
Thank you to Princess Cruises for Partnering on this post – all opinions remain my own.
